Could Andy be difficult to read just because he's a little clueless? It's kind of just the way he is.

The Island seems to be able to prevent paradoxes. Thus in alt-time, it has to be sunk to prevent a certain paradox. Now, it's possible that when it moved in time, like Ben caused at the end of season 4, it sunk. We saw it bloop away and just the ripples. Now, we know it moves through time but it's only been

state title
Do I smell a state championship for the Lions next year or is that too easy? Symmetry with season 1?

McCoys
I was very surprised at the lack of McCoys this season. I was cultivating my hate for them all off-season and then only got to bring it out a couple times. As harsh as they were portrayed in season 3, they just became part of the bigger picture and drifted into the background in this season. All we got in

For the record, episode 606: Sundown is not Sun/Jin centric. Just like episode 713: Jack of All Trades is not Jack centric. I may have made up that last one.

There are so many holes in Dharma's relationship to the Island that I THOUGHT we would get last year and didn't. I think they'll give us a few answers about the origins of Dharma this year, with the Hanso family in particular.

Yep, since this was season FOUR that just finished, all of our original characters graduated this season. Our original freshman were Julie and Landry. Done. They may be around in limited roles but it's mostly about the new cast.

That's a solid theory and I do like it a lot. Freewill vs. Predestination is definitely at the core of the show. Desmond is the big wrinkle in that of course. It seems he is able to divert predestination for a little while. He could prevent Charlie from dying for a few hours to make sure his death was not in vain.

4-6 Seasons is the most ANY TV show should do. So I'm totally fine with this. It'll go out on its own terms.

Chuck has a crazy strong fanbase. Not Supernatural or LOST strong… but pretty damn strong.

I agree, I thought that Berg had said that season 5 would be it when he signed that 2 year deal. The fact that he was able to pull off season 4 (I'm a DTV sub) which essentially a new cast has been one of the greatest achievements in my memory. I was prepared to be disappointed this season but it was an emotional

The Island is sunk… but not destroyed. The houses were there, the swing set was there, the foot was there. It is quite literally, sunk. Very, very strange.

I think you're on to one of the final reveals of the show and that is simply that our LOSTies are not on the same side. It's not the Others vs. the Losties. Or Jacob vs. the Man In Black. It's the LOSTies vs. Themselves.

Was she dead and then resurrected like maybe Ben and Sayid? I don't see this as a major mystery to understand what's going on here but a stepping stone to the bigger picture.

Really? Why would Jack deliver Claire's baby? If you thought anyone besides Ethan, you should have at least guessed Juliet, she was the baby doctor after all.

Yes, and I know when it is.

He claims to be a mouthpiece for Jacob. That's all we got. I don't know who is good or bad or that it particularly matters. What I think happens in the end and is surprising nonetheless is that the LOSTies aren't the same side. I keep holding out that one of our main characters has been "in on it" the entire time.

@bourne, that is a valid question. Although it's not exactly clear how the camera "dove" down to the Island and how far away from it's path they were. I think the proximity to the Island is what allowed Desmond to "appear" on the plane to Jack. Electromagnetism and all.

I always thought the sickness was related to slipping through time? Are we getting a new definition?

That's not a bad thought. The reason we didn't see her last year is because she was still in 2007, not hiding out in the Dharma era. Also: Christian probably protected her. Whatever Christian is.
