I can't believe they didn't have her shoot, because she is in the Slingshot Air Defense Reserve.

Sandra will always occupy a special place in my heart for burning Russell's hat.

"Elmo went to wrong fundraiser."

The biggest surprise for me is that the alien invaders turned out to be Daft Punk.

I agree that it could have been structured better. I enjoyed seeing the day of the invasion, but found the ending jarring. Even adding "Present Day" to the title saying "Santa Monica Bloc" would have smoothed the transition.

Good point about the visual. While watching it I was saying "How tall IS she?" and then she said this line immediately afterward.

I'd been on the fence since the first episode, and after the end of this one my wife and I just looked at each other and decided that we're out. It has the odd moment, but fundamentally the lead characters are all unlikeable. So why would I want to spend more time with them?

Leo's father is obviously…Val Kilmer!

I'm not sure why I'm even discussing this issue with you, given that you've offered no evidence whatsoever that anyone else is writing GRRM's books for him, but I'll add two more things that make your assertion unlikely:

If GRRM's assistants were doing so much writing, don't you think the books would be published more quickly?

Yes—just like if Savage had called another player out on their choice of headwear.

I think you either like Mooney's character, or you don't. I do. It's not that he's a bad comedian, but the excellent job he does at revealing the core of despair inside, and eliciting pity from the audience.

Poor Tom—he might have sealed the deal if only he'd mentioned DJ Roomba!
