I'm glad this book and Coates' pretentious, overly-wordy, deconstructionist, but still hollow book are in the crapper, sales wise. They're two examples of what happens when Marvel hires the latest "IT Writers", and not people who can actually write comicbooks.

Seriously…

Those "cows" are a little TOO sacred. Especially in today's climate.

I can't wait to be called a "Hotep" btw, or "an apologist" for those people. By some knee-jerking reactionaries who think that I'm co-signing the group that this article (and the related video) are poking fun at.

I'm actually conflicted about this topic. (The video was hilarious, though.)

There are hardly any "White Power" vibes emanating here. I'm merely stating the truth. As for the scenario, that's just the cold hard truth. Storm is as a strong female character as you can get, but she's at her best when she's the Exotic, Ethnically Safe, Auxiliary. One who periodically breaks out to posture proudly

I've already mentioned "why" Black Panther is a lowly negro. Re-read my post. He has all the tools to be a star, but we still dislike the character. And the only logical conclusion is because he's a black male that has too much going for him to be a threat to the rest of the MU. This isn't fear, it's about keeping

There's nothing remotely "ridiculous" about this. Black Panther is the most developed black (probably ethnic minority male) hero out there, and he's still lowly. Whereas Storm, is much more well known with us. Why? She's a weaker, black, female, exotic, version of Thor with a back story that Claremont didn't even

Going to say the unabashed truth. Storm has ALWAYS looked better hugged up on white guys. Logan, Remy, Namor, Thor, Dracula, all of them. It's like she was made to be our ideal black woman. Powerful, proud, exotic (but not TOO frequently ethnic in her endeavors), in-charge, and spending almost 40 years with white
