Also, someone needs to teach the announcers the difference between irony and coincidence. Not one fucking announcer gets it right.

Calvin and Hobbes is a pretty obvious pick for me since I was Calvin's age when it first came out.

Aye, as my post says. I only mentioned IV's use of the charge shot with the Pharoah Shot as my only instance of liking it.

And Metal Man looks like a doctor.

Arguing about which is better: Mega Man II or III is like arguing over which movie is better: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly or Once Upon a Time in the West. There's no wrong answer, though pendants will fight to the death over it.

And why teach drillers how to astronaut when you can teach astronauts how to drill?

Isn't this the plot of The Island?

Screw players who stick to the same characters. So boring. My buddy and I would just play random all day, although the session would always end with us both playing Shin Akuma.

Alpha 2 was always the peak of the series for me, paticularly for custom combos. In Alpha 3, you had to choose the different "isms" at character selection, but in 2, you had the regular super combos as well as the custom ones at your disposal.

Let's not forget the two most badass words ever said during that tme: "More weight."

My personal fave is Forgetting Sarah Marshall. "I came here to murder you" alone should've put the movie on the list!

Not sure if it counts as cheating, but in college we would only play NFL Blitz in No First Downs mode.

Similar to Contra, mine is Life Force (a sort-of sequel to Gradius). Same code, same 30 lives. That game is damn near impossible without it.

Alright, I'll give you that one.

Do a google images search for "sportsball books of adam". The first result is a comic that's pure perfection. I started living my life according to the last line and became 53% lees of an asshole as a result.

Christmas Vacation is great until Cousin Eddie shows up. He Jar Jars the movie hard.

Red Septing? Really? That's the best you could come up with? What's wrong with the Green Trial?

The Sisters Brothers is a great western novel. Equal parts melancholy and funny. A film adaptation is in the works. I really hope they don't screw it up.
