Give this one a shot. It's more along the lines of Unforgiven in terms of revisionist western. Eastwood's performance is similar to GBU and Unforgiven but all three characters are still pretty different.

I first saw this around the time Cold Mountain came out. I found both films to be similar in themes and structure, though Josey Wales is vastly superior. For starters, I actually cared about Josey. Cold Mountain has a fantastic cache of characters, but does anyone give a shit about Nicole Kidman's or Jude Law's

I'm going with Super Troopers even though it's popular enough to be disqualified. However, Farva is so much like a college friend of mine, it's kind of frightening. Just the sheer amount of subtle details they got right boggles my mind.

I'm still trying to get friends to watch Battlefield Earth for Travolta's hilarious performance. why it's not up there with The Room is beyond me.

Like My Name Is Earl, this show worked so much better when it stuck to formula. It lost me whenever Hank would be shanghaied to some exotic locale to help Campbell Scott in some conspiracy plot.

Last time I saw these guys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs opened for them at Brownie's (a small bar venue in NYC). Half the crowd left after YYYs played.

Tom Waits. No explanation needed.

I had always heard of the band X, but never listened to them. When I had an emusic unlimited subscription, I downloaded Aspirations, the only album of theirs they had. I instantly fell in love with it—it's one of the best punk albums I've ever heard.

Visited three times as a kid. Managed to survive without severe injury or Alpine Slide-induced skin removal. However, I have experienced more ice water enemas at the jungle swing than I'm comfortable with. And I lost my brand new Swatch at the cliff dive. That was a birthday present, too.

Grindhouse for me as well, but for the opposite reason: my theater was sold out and everyone was super in to it.

Fuck the rules. I'm starting a write-in campaign for President Camacho.

My personal fave is Extracurricular. Such an awesome screaching guitar lead.

Steve Albini is that one friend we all have: every word that comes out of his mouth is brilliant, and you wish he'd just shut the fuck up and enjoy things.

The easiest way to take the spine sticker label off a jewel case is to unhinge the lid. Easy peasy.

Correction: it was Anthony Bourdain, not Gordon Ramsey.

Karen Allen was the only good thing inKingdom of the Crystal Skull. She looked like she was having so much fun in it.

Forget Harry and Hermione. I was hoping for Harry to end up with Luna. She had a deeper understanding and acceptance of Harry than anyone else. And despite her eccentricities, Harry was always comfortable with her, finding a kinship unique to them.

A few people on Twitter made fun of my hair during my appearance, but then again, so did Trebek during a break.
