Loved this episode…except for the return of the S1 theme music. The opening theme sequence of S1 was easily the worst part of the first season. So dour, ugly and jarring. I remember it several times interrupting what was otherwise a riveting episode.
Let's not forget that they name-checked the Thanagarian Snare Beast. Makes sense that they couldn't actually show a weird giant spider monster on a CW budget.
yeah, but he's had to live with the fact that he was the one who shot Brandon for most of his life. He's openly talked about how much it weighed on his conscience.

Aren't the dragon masks a Dark Army thing? The two Dark Army reps that Darlene and Trenton met in S1 were wearing them right?
by which you mean HBO cares about good storytelling and taking risks while NBC literally does not know how to handle themselves if their show isn't a sitcom.
No, the stubborn insistence by NBC to keep Hannibal broadcasting in a weekend death slot with erratic scheduling between seasons is what eviscerated your show.
It legitimately confuses me that people somehow enjoy this show.
