I love this show. It is JUST LIKE the Batman comics I grew up with, and just as much fun and violence. Methinks you judge this too harshly. It is not anything but beautiful pulp entertainment.

Love this show. Always something nuts around the corner. Very entertaining and much more in the vein and flow of the Batman comic books than anything else out there, even if it is about Gotham before the Batman came to be.

WRONG. They have stated that there will be NO BATMAN on this show. It is not about batman. It is about the city of GOTHAM which if you were a batman reader would know is just as integral to the mythos as the man in the cowl himself.
