Right- she indicated in episode 3 that she had more than $100k on hand to potentially lend to her brother.

Right. This is a show about how *these characters* are living post-Departure, not about how the world at large is handling it. If they keep up the character development they've achieved so far, it's IMO far more impactful to focus on the aftermath through just the lens of this small town.
I like to think she logged in to her (now ex-)husband's long abandoned PayPal account, as another little "fuck you."
Hmm that's a good point. Though I do think it's more likely that the bosses never watched the videos to put 2+2 together than it is that 100% of the people she asked said yes to make her feel better.
I think it's more likely that she skipped the question and marked "yes" for everyone, or marked "yes" regardless of their answer because it's what she needed to believe.
As someone who hates and never says the word "ship" as a verb… my god, I ship the fuck out of Nora and Kevin.
Like a phoenix… rising from Arizona.
Love the Van-B Boys. That episode inspired my running fantasy football team name. The best part is my avatar: http://image.spreadshirt.co…
Do you ever laugh?
Sometimes, when I'm in the tub.
Same here. I own the box set of all the DVDs and I watch the TBS reruns anyway.
Well, birthdays are merely symbolic of how another year has gone by and how little we've grown. No matter how desperate we are that someday a better self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it's not to be, that for the rest of our sad, wretched pathetic lives, this is who we are to the…

We don't know for sure that Cameron bought what she was selling (in reference to Sorkin-esque speech). She saw that her buddies were the ones who cheated, like she would, and maybe made her pitch work for Joe so she could keep them.
I desperately want to see Roger's take on "Scout's Honor."
But I think there's a decent chance Bert Cooper wouldn't know or remember that fact. The show's staying true to character here.
Well, I don't know how long they'll last without that fondue pot there to bring her back for more.
I will have to rewatch but I thought she was more annoyed at getting a work call around dinnertime on the weekend - not threatened by Peggy specifically. You bring up a good point re: the secretary. Hmm. I think Megan is resignedly letting her marriage die but it's still hard to pull away completely and to hear your…
They do seem to switch roles pretty often, and I think it's tied up in location. Don's disinterested in Megan (and everything else) when he's in LA and vice versa when they're in NY.
On rewatch, I have to watch that scene between my fingers. It's hard to look at.
Yeah, good point. I wonder if she "doesn't remember" it in the same way Don "doesn't remember" whether or not he had the perfect TV life.
