That's very true.

I rarely like short stories, because I feel an inexplicable hatred for ironic endings, and unfortunately many short stories resort to these to be able to go out with a bang but not being able to come up with something better.

Everyone knows this story and its twist so well, I wonder what new experience this movie can provideā€¦ I have very low expectations.

Who knows, I'll upvote your comment instead, just in case.

Unless it has a huge twist where the movie is really about something else.
It looks incredibly lame and overdone otherwise.

Never thought I'd say this, but I think there is such a thing as too much Ryan Gosling.

The other points didn't bother me that much, but the first point was very annoying. How not one of the passengers in the carriage mentioned that "they would have turned already", but they were in complete agreement. Even the baseball girlfriend didn't argue just left.

And no love story, just like in Moana, which is refreshing.

Exactly! A bit like Pretty Woman.

Doesn't sound too good if it has an "ironic" solution. I really hate those, I think they are super easy to write and show a nice "fuck you, the joke's on you" to the viewers.

Maybe too many good movies since then - top 2 came out quite recently.

Agree completely. At first I thought I hated The Witch, but after a few days passed I realised I was just scared shitless by it.

The Fits - haven't seen it, but it sounds a lot like 2014's The Falling.
Is there any connection?

I want to see that movie!

Dying to watch this!
(pun not intended)

Apparently you were, you should be making a movie with an all-star cast.

I've just looked this up, and WTF

Also, what is actually seen on the original footage?

Who is he impersonated by in this movie?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but women also watch porn rather than read it. :)
