How many women actually like this book? None of the ones I know, some read it but they are embarrassed.

I don't think it worked as much as they hoped. If this movie came out 10 years ago, we would have seen "edgy" 16-year-old Harley Quinns everywhere, now it was more like meh whatever and the average age of the people who like the characters is 12.

Then she would have said she "owned up" to it.

Come on, I see you are trying to defend this movie to the end, but even you have to agree that Katana is a stereotype.

The movie is ultimately about choosing to believe that Josef is genuinely nice just creepy/weird or not trusting him and believing he is a psycho killer. Aaron and the audience keep going…

I have seen the movie and this here on av club is the most "spoilery" review I have read, it is indeed the gist of the movie.
