They really need to establish an end point for this show so that they can tighten up these episodes and tell a compelling story.

They need to pick a side. If they want to be campy and fun, then stop with the heavy-handed attempts at serious moments. They're trying to have it both ways. And it's not a low-budget show, that's why these bad CGI moments are so grating.
