Mac's character died at the end of the first film and I can't imagine Ritter's having much to do in a sequel, but I do get what you're saying.

"Well, they can't all be winners." is one of my all-time favorite lines in any movie. Just, absolutely perfect.

Zwigoff's direction was the silent MVP of the first movie, so I'm not surprised that this one feels like a cheap knockoff. Still going to watch it out of pure obligation, though.

We carry a harpoon?

I get that being a pubescent, teenaged girl that essentially lacks parents could realistically do a number on someone's personality. but goddamn, do I miss Seasons 1-3 Debbie.

Can it be Jimmy Fallon who tries to do it? That way, despite the outcome of the attempt, America wins.

So, for the Christmas episode in two years? I can dig it.

But too much of it turns it into Rap Radar.

This episode wins points from me for not trotting Hader, Armisen and (probably) Tina Fey (again) onstage like I was almost certain they would.

He was also in the last season of Maron, more or less playing himself. At least we know he can be self-deprecating at times?

"I'm the one Ivan's ghost cock is staring at, and it's laughing!!"

So Drake's hosting again, huh? I can dig it!

I usually judge the opening monologues by that guy's ability to hold it together. It's a solid way of going about it.

Exactly. There were a lot of layers to that cold open, but that "I'm not giving up" line was Kate speaking as herself, not as Clinton. Truly some powerful stuff, and one of those moments where you benefited from watching it live and not on YouTube the following morning.

Just don't tell anybody.

"I've been a total bitch lately."
"It's okay, baby. I can take it. That, I can do for you."

I hear he's a million ladies tall!

Maybe he and Alfred spent this week finishing Amadeus.

Dump tell no mandy; it's just a landmower turned bankways!

Drake is also starting to work his way onto that list, and I'm surprisingly okay with that.
