Yeah, that was awkward.

And J.K. Simmons as Nas!

…are intergalactic space pants?

In that respect, it would have been interesting to have seen those rumors of a Sopranos prequel series come to fruition, focusing on Johnny Soprano, young Junior and Paulie, etc. I doubt Chase would revisit that well, though, nearly a decade after the Sopranos finale.

*Showtime exec snorts line of coke; greenlights 'Cassette' for 12 seasons*

Yes! I'd even include Winter as a staff writer if Chase were running the show overall. The two of them together are responsible for some of my favorite Sopranos episodes - Walk like a Man, Big Girls Don't Cry and The Ride, specifically.

And licensing "Here Comes the Sun".

You also could have cross-referenced another HBO series and said "Winter is leaving."

I'm cautiously optimistic - watching Winter's self-congratulatory explanation about how the end of "Cyclone" was supposed to be this gigantic reveal that caught the audience off guard made me immediately think, "Hmm. Maybe this guy's the problem." I still think this show has a crap-ton of potential. This past episode

I'm surprised his appearance on Update didn't garner him some decent screentime for later episodes. It was pretty damn well received, the way I saw it.

Melissa McCarthy is shown walking off with the on-set llama when she hosted a couple years back.

Lo-KAY-shinn, lo-KAY-shin, lo-KAY-shin…

"I've got 8% more sass than regular Homestar!"

I more consider True Detective the HBO parallel to Homeland; the drama series with a fantastic first season, followed by an almost cartoonish nosedive in quality for its second.

She, Zak and Andrea are while I'm still watching. Dev is also horribly underutilized. Her sans-Richie scenes have been consistently well done.

Axl puts Wes Borland on standby, in the event Buckethead starts giving lip.

Precisely - 50% of the problems with Vinyl would be solved if it just shifted its main focus to Zak and Andrea, or even Dev.

Holy fuck. Queenie is the Poochie of Shameless.
