I wasn't offended by CK's monologue, but it did feel disjointed, and kind of like "controversy for the sake of controversy" to me. The monologue he did when he hosted last year was absolutely fantastic.
I was pretty lukewarm on MacDonald for over a decade, but his series of tweets detailing the goings on behind the scenes at SNL40 made me genuinely like the guy and look into him more.
