To each their own, always. Just a big disappointment when compared to the original for characters for me, I was bored and struggled to finish it. Feel the same about Ocean's Eleven and it's remake too, felt too stylized without being an engaging heist flick.

Yeah, I'm not predicting anything, just mentioning improbable action contenders. Now a TA:WP piece would be a must see article. Action should count in any medium when relevant (w/in reason).

Yeah, no worries. Actually the best American action movie might be The Incredibles- family friendly, comedy, romance, thriller, love letter to superheroes, and one of if not the best and funniest post or during credits bonus scene ever (going thru the roster of supers and their profiles).

Shaun's action/comedy, just offering other examples, chill. Never said they were action remakes or good (Flight of the Phoenix remake was horrible), just that it was a year of ugh remakes any frelling genre, damn.

2004 action movies
Shaun of the Dead
District 13
Team America:World Police
The Incredibles

For a Few Dollars More, really don't care for TGTBTU's wah wah wah theme, though Ecstasy of Gold is pure awesomeness-love to sing along. Elfman's Batman Returns is my favourite, though lately it ties with Guido & Maurizio De Angelis' Keoma's engaging but unpublished soundtrack. Then of course Michael Kamen's brilliant

Yes, I'm well aware as he's stated on his site in response to many fans. It'd just be nice to clear all that space off my dvr, you know. Really wish you had better news to offer in that respect ; ), oh well.

Ever seen Person of Interest? Bloody brilliant score by Ramin Djawadi, blows everything else he's down out of the proverbial water, all available on youtube too. Agree on the A-Team original theme, not it's terrible synth remake.

Well that's disappointing as a lover of instrumental music (don't usually pay attention to lyrics unless I like the music). This may be the best review I've ever read on this site, excellent job Mr. O'Neal. Also thought those were Taiko drums, never heard of "titanic" drums. Still waiting for the Constantine series

Rustin was great, couldn't stand Marty the moron-"what's scented meat" sums up his character well- actually prefer season two to one for characters, entertainment, opening credits and rewatchability despite its flaws and the gorgeous setting of S1 vs ugly L.A in S2.

These comments are a microcosm of why we can't have nice things.

Agreed, the music was shite this episode.

Horrible but idiotic. Just don't play catch and release tag into traffic.

Never seen The Guard with Brendan Gleeson? A brilliant Irish comedy I recommend to everyone I can, a favourite of mine and excellent original score too.

I wouldn't call Browning curved and billowed like the green sea either. Many types of intelligence too, perhaps emotional or interpersonal or intuitive, ect., ect…
Beauty was the word used not pretty and the former is quite different than the latter in meaning. I'd like to think all (one hopes) humans have a beauty to

"Intelligence has never been uncommon among women."

Yes, Ian Beattie played Jackdaw.

Loved the weapons turning everyone into what looked like crumpled toy soldiers.
"What does the pink thing say?"
Only one wot. Four for ruddy. Sure muskets did fuck all but we can take them! Nevermind we're dependent on them to get home. Not as down on Gatiss as others and Robot of Sherwood is one of my favourites, so

(btw anyone have any idea why all the upvotes i do seem to disappear when I go back to read new comments? It's been a while now, keep forgetting, but I hate to think that others think I'm some asshole who never upvotes anyone. or am i worried over nothing and it's a quirk of disqus. Because sometimes I open a review

So in checking the listings for anything new this weekend besides Syfy that have already been mentioned- they're even replaying the Wynonna Earp finale in a half hour!- and looks like 4 new episodes of S2 Idiotsitter: The College Years are set for Saturday. Haven't seen any ads/ mentions of it anywhere but glad I
