Congrats to Sexy Ina Garten on her Jeopardy victory.

The AV Club…

Playing Jeopardy and using cocaine: two instances where asking a lot of questions in rapid succession is expected.

MAGNA CARTA!
FUTURAMA!

Screaming out "WHAT IS SPECIES!" before every clue finally paid off.

Because Jeopardy is more than just a traditional game show that flips the question and answers: it's a powerful statement about our current societal norms.

Hated the guy at first, but it soon became clear just how nervous he was. The tics were less smugness and more "complete terror." Won me over when he asked to shake Trebek's hand during the credits.

Congrats to "Emile Hirsch as Gordon Gekko" on his Jeopardy win!

These are the same perfume loving, ex-pat Philistines who couldn't name the Captain and Tennille.

And now tomorrow's episode is guaranteed to open with Trebek mentioning the pitiful sum that TJ barely managed to win.

What is "pounding pavement?"

TJ: If Jason Segel were cast as Jim Halpert.

I will go to my grave insisting that "Boozer Chooser" worked for that question.

For being a cord cutter, he nearly ran the TV category.

What is peanut oil?

This was one of those episodes where Alex was nearly playful and clever, but still managed to come off as a dick. Every Q&A has to end with Trebek getting the upper hand.

You win an Apollo Bar

As I've gotten some distance from LOST, I've forgiven most of the plotholes and discarded plot threads. Getting caught up in Aaron or Walt or Widmore breaking "the rules" distracts from the overall great storytelling.

First half of the season has been painfully slow (particularly for fans of the comic), but I have faith in an absentee god that things will finally pick up and finally take this show on the road.

It looked as though Bayley and his friends walked past her at one point, so it was either a LOST-style coincidence, or a LOST-style purgatory.
