Me too!  The first time I nearly saw it as a kid my parents, well Mum, said that "we arn't going to watch this rubbish", probably after 10 minutes, at which point the set was turned off.  Many, many years later as an adult it finally came back on telly and I watched it all through……………….it wasn't worth the wait!
