While I will agree that people who want to pirate will pirate I will add that people who want convenience will do what is most convenient.

I understand the point. I'm saying that if a channel cannot exist based on the people who actually watch it being the only people paying for it, then it shouldn't exist.

Bundling is a way of allowing the cableco's to look like they are offering a lot for what they are charging you and at the same time making everyone pay for the channels that only a few want to watch.
