Max needs to understand that he can't act out all the time and that's what causes people to act negatively toward him. He needs someone to connect the dots for him.

I had to put on the captions to get the "peed in my canteen" line. It was easy to miss. The actor kind of mumbled it. I don't think the reviewer heard it, because that small fact made Adam and Kristina's reactions seem to fit better. Btw I have an Aspie son who was bullied a lot, including on his first camping…
