“During Obama,” Haglund said, “We’d have a week where we didn’t use a clip of the president."

I think the evidence is he didn't actually do that well with LGBT, but that's actually a group where sub-section is sometimes different from each other. Like it seems like he may have done better with gay men than lesbians. And bisexuals are sometimes in opposite-gender (or traditional depending on your viewpoint)

But maybe that's actually an argument to ignore. If the media hadn't paid him so much attention in the primaries maybe none of this would have happened. (Okay we likely would have ended up with President Cruz, which might be just as upsetting for many.)

If you're sick of it can't you just try to find something else to talk about? We're not having another Presidential election until 2020 so you could talk about Dean Heller or Paul Ryan or even a Democratic politician if you're risk-taking enough.

Weirdly even kids who are murderers might still be malleable enough to improve.

Maybe being dead for over 76 years has mellowed him though. (Or maybe not. "Purgatory is so boring. There's no booze and if I have to hear another young dead person sing 'Skeletons' I'll go crazy. It's just not that funny!")

You do know that the military has chaplains and Jesuits have been on scientific exploration missions, right? Father José Celestino Mutis, not seeing his order, led a botanical expedition. Father Francis P. Filice did an expedition to Baja.

Humans were pretty much atheistic by TNG, and maybe Betazeds too, but it wasn't clear with other Federation species.

I even voted for him, but no thanks. Pretty sure he doesn't swing that way anyway.

When I was nine I was annoyed the Challenger explosion was pre-empting Duck Tales. (I know "and you said kids aren't psychopaths?" but I think I did feel some remorse later. Also, I think, it was a bit of "I'd care if I knew them, but I don't so I don't.")

I hadn't thought of that. It does seem you hear of the ones who win, but does that mean most win when they run or that we forget the ones who fail?

I originally had this on the wrong page. I added something to it on moving it here.

It was by something called the Trafalgar group.

Maybe he's from a colony world where the concept of God is meaningless or non-existent. So then it's like "We went over your character's background, don't be a smart aleck."

Okay. But "Kids are awful and I hate them" seems to be way common here.

He's nine. That's probably not possible yet.

Wishing death on nine-year-olds you've never met now? It's truly amazing the Democratic Party isn't more popular right now.

I think AV collectively decided "go high" didn't work so don't follow it.

Well there looks to be the following now

Although I agree you shouldn't endorse every dumb thing a kid wants, "psychopath" is rather extreme. Kids can, normally, feel some level of empathy and remorse.
