Yeah. I mean part of it was explicitly to take a bunch of land from indigenous people, and originally they were considering a line about "You are letting Catholics worship freely!" but they didn't want to tick off the French or maybe also the Carrolls, but not to advance slavery.
But we're starting to get rid of those monuments. And really a series presenting the "Confederacy wins" as like "Nazis win" could fit what you ostensibly should want.
