I don't think that's really the same thing. There really isn't some grand history of offensive Alternate Confederacies in film and TV. There is a history of offensive blackface.

Yeah. A song can have weird or offensive, even, lyrics but be musically appealing.
I know people who are Tori fans. (And I like much of her stuff even if I think she's kind of weird.) I'd say "it depends" but
I did study the Middle East some. Almost got published for an essay on Sudan, which isn't Middle East but has been in the Arab League for 60 years. The British, French, and Ottoman Empires have a lot more to do with what's wrong there then the US. (Granted in Sudan specifically I think we did aid General Nimeyri who…
It's more that I have a history degree and know things like context and reality. But whatever dude.
It's true we're so lame.
A reacher stick, soft nerfy kind maybe, with toilet paper on one end? I've heard of some with stubby arms do something like that.
Hello
Wow a musician thinks Trump is a moron. What bravery and insight. It makes him like…
I think one of the Crawford twins is alive. She defends her mother, but from what I can tell she didn't sound as "out there" as BD. I kind of gathered she doesn't want publicity much, but I think did sue Christina for something she said about her or whatever.
Yeah I thought mostly De Havilland came out about the nicest. Although maybe a little phony and Pollyannaish.
I'm sort-of on De Havilland's side because it's so cool she's still got the energy to act against those besmirching. But the part about, "By the logic of Ms. de Havilland’s attorneys, no producer would be able to tell any stories about famous people, living or dead without their
consent" is an area I do have concerns.…
So the point of it is the comments section? They are the "music" so to speak?
I thought that was weird too. Was he like really bad to an ex-girlfriend or ex-wife? Or do they just have stories of getting hit on by annoying guys who think listening to James Taylor makes them "sensitive" or something?
I guess I was a little annoyed because I think there has been terrible music made in history so sure why not do a list of that where it's men?
My first thought was this is more the politics of these albums then their qualities, but I guess it's not even that. It's just some kind of weird joke. So okay?
Even if you dislike that example there has been improvements in Afghanistan since what we did with the Taliban. Afghanistan has drug-dealing, poverty, abuse etc still. I don't deny that or even that drug-dealing worsened. But by most measures they have improved.
Yeah, that got me too. I think you can criticize the War on Terror without saying it's meaningless.
I think they've given up on trying.
I hadn't really heard much of blaming youth before this. (Other than maybe complaining about youth turn-out or third party voting.) I might guess it's some kind of "we expected more from you!" type thing.
