"The US's atrocities don't compare because they're far worse."

You're not missing that much. It's not terrible, but it's not doing much for me and I may kind of trail out of it in time.

On a procedural measure? I'm not sure.

Wow, really? Chiang is heavily respected and award-winning despite not being especially prolific by the genres standards. He's won four Nebulas, Four Hugos, a Theodore Sturgeon Award, and the Kurd Lasswitz prize for just around 15 stories. (No novels so far as I know.) He's like, per story, about the most impressive

I would have said Justified, but I haven't seen Deadwood. I hear it's very cursy, but that likely wouldn't matter to you.

"Art Blakey, Tito Puente, Bootsie Barnes, Jimmy Heath, Tommy Flanagan,
Joe Wilder, Percy Heath, Carlos Valdés, Eric Gale, Slide Hampton, and
Jimmy Oliver."

The Carmichael Show and Salvation.

That's kind of AV Club's thing.

I wonder if I'm misunderstanding you or if you're confusing libertarianism with libertarian socialism or Left Libertarianism." Are you European? Because in Europe they do seem to sometimes say "libertarian" when they mean either Right or Left Libertarian and sometimes mean the Left kind more.

Although that makes sense out of kindness I try to mostly just blame the ones who voted for him in the primaries.

The "National Right to Life Committee" started in 1967, before Roe. It was Catholic, not Republican. The Alt-Right is Pro-Choice as it believes abortion keeps many people from being born poor or minority. Denmark has restrictions after the 12th week that shows like "American Crime" seemed to deplore.

I agree…however he does look to have narrowly won whites 18-29.

Killing millions of people is usually not a good thing. The US's atrocities and restrictions don't compare.

"Fascism" doesn't mean actual fascism when you're at a place like this.

Yeah, but I don't know how honest he is. He does go in for some Soviet nostalgia but he also nods at some Russian Orthodox nationalist type stuff.

I'd think I'd put them a little higher, but not as high as libertarians who have heard of her and despise her. (I want to meet a libertarian who tries to get me to read Rose Wilder Lane or Isabel Paterson. Not that I like them, but at least that would be different and I'm open to learning more about them.)

I used to have some sympathy what you're saying but really plenty of people are picking sides. If you think the problem in America right now is neutrality and moderation, and indeed some who post here do, than I don't know what to tell you. (Well actually I do, I'd tell you you're wrong.)

I think Presidential candidates are useful if you want to be nationally known and get attention.

It's not Leftist, but it is mostly liberal. (Except on police issues. Much of the entertainment media, at least, sides with the police.)

I think the middle-aged were more the problem here. The majority of old people just vote whoever is Republican. They would have voted for Kasich if he'd been the nominee. Democrats want too much to celebrate things they always believed were sins.
