That entered my mind too.

Also Hannibal ended, but I don't know if that's related.

The place is a bit gloomy guses of late, what with all the…stuff.

"Documents unearthed show Sophie Tucker, Last of the Red Hot Mamas, learned about sex from a game the patrons at her parents restaurant played called 'Thrones.' In the game each person played a king or queen, called a 'throne'. Each throne had various options of how they could deal with landing on another's square,

I didn't take sex-ed, and wanted to be a monk, but I'm vaguely intrigued how people manage to know little on sex these days. I was practically trying to know little about it, but at 21 I still may well have known more than my Mom at 21 and she had a baby at that age. (Some aspects of female anatomy I might have been

Hope the kid's okay and that they happily reunite. Having a child be lost is a classic parental nightmare. Best to the family. (I'm not in the Northeast so not much more I can do.)

I think eviscerating or fricasseeing people is still illegal.

Hm.

I'd guess "commie" is meant as an adjective to describe the kind of traitor. (I actually think Groban doesn't come out all that well in this exchange either, but I grant that might be an irritating opinion.)

Edison cylinders man!

Which is weird because ideally the two things are almost the opposite.

Yeah that one is a puzzler.

There was some libertarian, libertarianish, woman who wrote a pro-Trump book.

I tend to be different than many here on many things. (For example I referred to "the Left gravitates to" in a way I hope indicated I'm not part of it.)

That's what the fishheads are for!

I actually have seen it. I think I watched it with my Dad who liked it at least a little. I just hadn't made the Lethal Weapon connection. I recall thinking they made the British rather over-the-top villainous even for a patriotic movie. (That said I don't think I've seen Deathwish.)

And they can be overthrown while still living on. (Gaafar Nimeiry, Ne Win, Fulgencio Batista, etc)

They do pun categories. If they did "Make American Great Again" it would likely be about things in the US with the word "Great" in them. (Great Smoky National Park, Great Falls, Great Salt Lake, etc.)

As I said I don't see that that needs to be argued. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. It hardly matters. (People are arguing the point, but I'm mostly not.)

"A painfully stupid "slippery slope" argument."
