Maybe it's a "All British is English" situation. Like how many Americans basically use "BBC" to mean British television regardless of what channel a program was shown on in the UK.

My Dad had to go to the eye doctor yesterday. I guess there's a small chance he may go blind in one eye. Bummer.
I wonder if it's different in those countries that rarely or never win anything. (Luxembourg, Albania, Bangladesh, El Salvador, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guyana, Honduras, Madagascar, Nicaragua being some that don't look to have won much at the Olympics or Paralympics. Luxembourg has a little, but I named them as…
Dark Matter. Also I'm going to the dentist, but it's okay as I like going to the dentist. She's been very nice and helpful and good luck tends to happen to me when I go.
Or not. We'll see. I'm going to try to stop with this "long goodbye" tic I've developed so am editing the above. (I will be gone when they switch to Kinja though, if that is really happening, that's pretty solid.)
A result like this makes me skeptical. I could see 3-5% in any survey just giving the most stupid answer because they think it's funny. Still fun to mention.
I thought I heard the shooter in the episode was black.
It's irritating to me too. I have some psychological quirks I don't always like.
Nothing much for me. I started watching "Continuum" on Netflix and have rewatched some "My Name is Earl" eps. Still hoping to get the life stuff back together.
Barbados looks close in gun homicide and it's just a bit shy of the "very high human development" countries by the UNDP. Uruguay is above us and close to high human development.
I wondered what happened there. Thanks for the explanation.
"but you're in bed with bad dudes."
I'm thinking it's maybe good I'm planning on leaving. Goodbye.
The DVR description I had for this one was off. It said it was about Jerrod being a victim or not wanting the victim label. But the one I saw was about Maxine discussing/rebelling from standards of beauty or the like and wondering if society is truly so superficial.
I've seen commenters, even on this thread, indicate they have some sympathy for this shooter. I remember one on an earlier thread saying he was reconsidering his views on guns due to Trump.
Is moderate a slur now? If Democrats ever want to win anything they'll likely need some moderates.
Do you think some other nation will fight wars better than we do? Because it's not like if we sit out there will be peace and love and brotherhood and crystal blue persuasion.
Okay I liked some of what you said, blocked a guy for being too harsh on you, but you're losing me a little here. And I never voted for the guy.
Uh specific threats to specific people I think can be seen as crossing the line from "free speech."
I think many Sanders people were moderately pro-gun. Or at least I heard of people who preferred her to him, in part, because they thought he was less for gun control.
