I should add however that, as long as the BBC is limiting The Doctor to English or Scottish white men, I'm holding out hope for Alan Rickman. Maybe Colin Firth as a super sensitive Doctor. And John Simm is awesome, but I've always wanted to see a Ralph Fiennes Master.

Wow…that is actually a really inspired choice. David Mitchell is brilliant in Peep Show and That Mitchell and Webb Look, but what made me really, truly love him were his appearances on QI. Fucking hilarious.
