Donnal Noye (or something along those lines) dies defending the giant in the book not Grenn, I actually though Alliser was going to be the sacrifice. Also, I don't think Alliser died, he was last seen being drug off behind a door, so I have a feeling that'll come back next season when they get into the election.

Agreed, I actually though Alliser Thorne would be the one going down the tunnel to kill the giant, but we lost Grenn instead. Oh well, I can't wait for Janos Slynt to get it.

I mistyped, been a while since I read the books. I meant to say a lot of her 2nd half book 3 stuffed was removed, and it looks like Lysa is going through the moondoor next week which doesn't happen till the end of the book.

This, I'm glad the show is going to keep him with Jaime though since he's such a fan favorite.

Dinkledge is such a fantastic actor, his monologue at the end was one of the best I've ever seen on television. Between the scene with Jaime and the one last night, hopefully he gets some more screen time so he can be considered for an Emmy again.
*Book 4-5 Spoiler*
Is it me or have some of these events been very

No he didn't. In fact Bronn pretty much disappears after the third book, and another character helps Jaime practice his sword play.

Agreed, but I don't think they underplayed it, I think the slow and painful thrusts into the gut of one and into the neck of the other where very deliberate and foreshadow her dark future.

Something tells me the necklace that Dontos gave Sansa will be particularly important at a certain wedding coming up, that scene was far too random to just be a "Thanks for saving my life, now here is my family's most precious necklace." Something tells me he got that from the Tyrells.
