One more, shortened season…there were alot of open doors here…I didn't feel closure at all….I even feel like I want another ep next week!

Ooooo, I would not say "you have to settle"…..you should never feel like you're "settling" for something because then your relationship is doomed.
You realize you are making the right CHOICE. Nick realized Reagan was probably a fantasy….and the reality of her was not right for him.
HOWEVER …
I don't think the writers

Not sure how they speak….have never been that far into the state.

I can tell you that the further west and north you go in Minnesota, and into eastern North Dakota, people really do speak with that accent, however it is also a very hard accent to mimic. There's a subtly to it that is hard to capture accurately - believe it or not. It's an easy accent to overdo, and certainly the

And I gotta say….It was great to see Donna Pescow again, and even with her brief appearance she was more engaging than Reagan ever has been!

For as much as Nick has shown some growth this year, him trying to break up with Reagan but being unable to, or trying to force her to break up with him instead so he wouldn't have to, was definitely a step backward in his maturity.
And then Reagan says she was thinking about breaking up with Nick "for a while now?"
Tha

Agreed…it was fine they got them together, but then every episode was about them and it didn't need to be. Plenty of shows have characters in relationships and it's not the center of the show….Season 4 was probably worse when they literally ignored that Nick and Jess had ever been in a relationship….Poor writing.

Agreed!

Man, I am hoping for a season 7 of any length … it just feels like this show has found it's way again and I want to see some more shenanigans from these 6….
Can't believe how well Aly has fit in to the gang …

Yeah, I read where she's not gone off the show, she's truly in Portland with her dad to get away from Nick and Regan and we'll see her there with her dad. Jess is the one keeping Nick and Regan together, from what we learned in this ep……So, I think this is where NIck and Regan start to fall apart and Nick will realize

Good callback to last week….or the week before….

I will be sad if New Girl gets cancelled. I want them to have just half a year to properly wrap things up and have a few MESS AROUNDS.

Yep..I remember her reminding her dad she had her masters…

I want a Nick/Jess and Winston/Aly double wedding, and a CeCe Schmidt baby, everyone to move out of the loft, and them to shut the lights out for the last time on the last episode….just like all great sitcoms!!

Agreed…it's very mysterious…..and he also was able to just leave for two months to be with Reagan in New Orleans?
Lately they've been saying he "owns" the bar, but yes, back when he and Schmidt bought in, it was for 10%.
Then again…it's a TV show. It's not real.
Then again, it bugs me when TV shows aren't at least

If it does get renewed, I bet they do a January start like they did a couple years ago due to Zooey Deschanel's last pregnancy……Then I'd say just do a short season…like 10 episodes or something, and wrap it all up. That would be perfect.

Once again…Hannah Simone's facial expressions are such a bonus!

I sure hope this isn't the last Winston and CeCe messaround…

I agree with a great deal of what slimy and lifeless are saying…I have always related alot to the characters on this show because my friends and I were similar when we were in our 30s - single, partying, trying to figure out our careers, didn't have a ton of money, dating, etc. But, we did all have our own apartments

Well hell….looking back, I am almost certain some of my teachers were drunk or severely hung over during school hours…..Jess looked OK to me…..
Didn't they say they had to drive like 3 hours to get home? I could have imagined that….Nick and Schmidt were probably sober by then. They all drink a lot on a regular basis so
