I'm pretty sure it is only his career that is dead not him.

You did.

Yeah, you can't successfully play Marlowe and be described as milquetoast.

Imma singa with the june-a and gloom-a alright.

What about Nickelodeon and The Driver?

No since Tatum actually won and was, you know, a good performer in a good movie.

Get thine eyes to The Ritz.

Ignoring the already mentioned insult to Gould it really is no
competition with Gould having a better career by any definition of the
word even when limiting it to those leading man days. George Segal would be a fairer fight.

I will second this. Paper Moon is probably the best 'nostalgia' piece Capt. Ascot's done.

Danny Huston: The Huston that makes John look like a nice guy. I really wish he and Peter Fonda got more good roles.

There was the Superfriends clones a while back.

That Greek movie he did? Out of what I've seen I'd probably have to go back to George of the Jungle maybe.

That's just usual Allen showing. I've made my peace I'll always be the youngest person at one of his films.

Definitely. I actually like a lot of the visual choices and the script isn't that bad so just shifting the cast could easily have made it a good movie.

Can't really talk as I haven't seen the Dalton Bonds (and Dalton is good enough of an actor where I believe that). I am just tired of the general anti-Moore tone which is inexplicable to me as usually (i.e. ignoring Moonraker type films) he's no more camp than Connery was and certainly far less than Brosnan.

Being good with complex human emotions doesn't make money though. Also Hulk.

Had he not died it sounds like Michael Clarke Duncan would be a good choice. Speaking of which I'm surprised Daredevil wasn't mentioned.

I'd figure Bruce Willis would be the worst casting of that movie. It would legitimately rise to decent had John Cleese or someone like him been cast in that role instead.

I think the film is hurt more by the lack of Duvall than the addition of her. Even with Ryder in the role the film would have issues.

Why not just shoot it Veep style?
