And Moore was relatively positive about it too.

For a serious response I think the reason he always goes to that well is because of where his turn against adaptations started namely when the LEGĀ  movie got sued and he was put on trial which drastically changed his tune on adaptations. He was much more ambivalent about the From Hell adaptation for example.

Certainly not worth having to be put on trial for though.

Yes, that was a more innocent time back when he shrugged and didn't care about an average adaptation of From Hell. Apparently going through the US legal system hardens a crazy wizard man.

I don't think it comes off as hypocritical to be honest.

Yes.

Funny-ish story. I knew someone who claimed with pride they never had seen a Canadian film. Their favorite '80s school comedy: Porky's

I agree, but then I think that the first is the weakest of the six films.

My favorite performance (in general) is as Dancer in Anatomy of a Murder where he brutally lives up to his name.

The Harry Potter books have a lot of serious problems with them. Not to the point I'd call them bad, but certainly I wouldn't call them exceptional or fantastic. Her tendency with odd adverbs alone earns her a scolding.

It was fairly recently and I've heard in general his theater work is consistent and amazing, but I want to actually, you know, see it.

I have to admit amongst the underrated one offs I really like Catman and I honestly have no clue why because I remember the episode itself being stupid.
