Originally Showtime only gave them 9 episodes and on the very last minute granted them another 9. I guess Frost and Lynch didn't expect that and didn't have enough time to rewrite the scenes, hence all the scenes that seem like fillers.

So many drawn-out awkward stares before the characters finally speak, I'm not sure what they serve narratively-speaking but then again what they serve narratively speaking is probably not a good question to ask when it comes to David Lynch.
Time and geography are kind of a whack right now. Varys getting the news of their navy's demise and Jon arriving at Dragonstone at the same time.
Finding it hard to care about CIA dude's storyline even though his is probably going to be the more significant down the road. The Pedro Pascal look-a-like storyline is pretty interesting but the wrestler himself is kinda devoid of personality. I don't mind someone who is quiet and reserved as a main character, but at…
lol, that's all I have to say about this.
To be honest I'm glad that it's more of a horror a la Inland Empire and Mullholland Dr. than the kinda zany Twin Peaks season 1 and 2. It's what I like the most about Lynch.
Lmao I thought right-wingers were a bunch of really tough people with thick skins? Whatever happened to that?
Chokehold can be lethal… Although I'm not saying that she is for sure dead.
All the responses you got are still not satisfactory IMO. We're talking about a society so advanced that they could make a very lifelike robot and some gel that can instantly seal up a grisly cut. You're telling me none of the employees look up the history of the company they are applying for? That's like interview 101…
Honestly though, even in the comics Negan is never menacing or terrifying to me. Yes, the situations our main characters are in chapter 100 of the comics is terrifying, but not because of Negan himself. Heck, Negan is even more ridiculously juvenile in the comics. If they adapted him 100% like in the comics, people…
Because the show expect us to care about these characters?
Pretty much agreed with the review. I feel like they should have given some of the human characters more backstory, like Elsie and Felix, even that hunky head security guy.
Did anyone else catch Angel turning into a luchador before he died? That made me lose my shit for a straight minute. They said they wanted to have more fun with the show this season, but it's not enough. Next season they should double or even triple the fun.
Either Bernie is a host or that is just a red herring.
Arya fell into a murky water with open wounds. They are going to address this I hope.
