I totally agree with the general consensus. It felt very rushed. This would've been much more effective spread over 2 episodes but obviously they just didn't have the time. If this had been the series finale i would've been so disappointed!

I agree those two have been the standouts by a mile for me. Just the sheer range of both their performances alone. I didn't like Aida/Fitz's creepy relationship at all but i loved their scenes together this episode.

I mean i think that plus the fact that Aida has taken his natural desire to protect people and his loyalty to the ones he loves and completely twisted it has made him this dead eyed, evil person. Instead of wanting to protect inhumans and Shield and his friends he now protects humanity from inhumans and Hydra and

Elizabeth has always been up there with Iain and Brett as one of the better actors on the show. So glad to see this arc is giving her some meaty stuff to work with!

Mark Kolpack said on twitter she was sick. She powered through though!

I don't think Daisy and Jemma's regrets actually factor in given that they hacked into the framework rather than be there when Aida reset it with all the new agents trapped inside. I think Jemma's death has been caused by the regret that was taken away from Fitz and I have a feeling that had something to do with his

He is consistently an MVP of this series. Honestly never thought for a second i'd ever find Fitz terrifying but I was completely freaked out! He and Elizabeth play off each other so well!

Omg that was one of my favourite ever episodes of shield! Kudos to Jed man, amazing! Also, every single one of the actors knocked it out the park! Elizabeth got the biggest dramatic scenes throughout but Iain was incredible as per usual (his change from sobbing and crumpled on the floor to completely void of emotions

I agree with Mack's point, but specifically singling out Fitz was a bit strange to me? Like i don't get what Mack's endgame was other than to kick Fitz while he was down? Like you said the stuff Fitz was helping out with isn't lopsided in favor of evil. And before Fitz was swayed in favor of it he was ready to shut

Yeah i don't doubt Jemma has some training but the whole thing seemed really weirdly choreographed? Like she took that pin out of her hair and stared at it for a second or 2 (obviously to 'show' it to the audience) and the guy kinda stood about? I just think it was weirdly directed and awkwardly executed by Elizabeth.

Yeah i'm pretty sure Fitz has demonstrated that he can be too trusting sometimes and that can be his downfall (see: Ward). And he's made it clear that the reason he's keeping aida a secret is so the team, aida and Radcliffe can stay safe. If more people know about her, more people are in potential danger and Fitz

I totally agree with you. To be honest, i think Jemma was harboring just as much resentment and irritation with Daisy as Fitz was. She's just not nearly as emotional as him and she's able to compartmentalize. Daisy and Fitz are similar in that they wear their hearts on their sleeves and can't help but react

I assumed Simmons figured it out because she already knew Radcliffe had a virtual assistant named AIDA. I just figured, after she heard the comment about the hands, she put two and two together.
