Agree. I don't know if it's because Patricia Heaton is conservative (for Hollywood) but I'm not and I think it's a really good show. They build on the characters over time and it pays off. When Sue lovingly told Brad "I know" as he was struggling to come out to her, it was a great finish to seasons worth of buildup.
