'Stine is the main reason I continue watching. There is such emotional depth to be explored about the psychology of slavery and its impact on the enslaved, specifically black women. Someone commented on Clara's quick development to a power hunger mistress. It is totally believable to me. That anger is fueled by hurt.

It was that cute moment at the cafe at the end of an episode that made me actually consider them as a potential couple. It's the look between Robby and Jess that felt real. Then their storyline tanked so fast.

If you watch Sixteen Candles now, his character is such a sleaze and total creep. Even pawns his passed out girlfriend to the nerd. Not before saying, "She's passed out in my room.
