This was a great movie, but I was disappointed that Steve Carell wasn't nominated for an Oscar. I thought Christian Bale was too "actor-y," but I thought the way Carell balanced his dramatic scenes with scenes where he had to be funny was outstanding. I thought his scene at the Vegas hotel bar with the crooked banker…
