It's funny, I actually knew about the spinoff, had read up a little on it (knew the names of the actors playing the leads and knew the whole 5 families schtick), but it's been a little while, so I didn't actually remember or realize that's what this was until Ennis' voiceover at the end. Then, it all clicked into

There's no way Edward James Olmos likes to be called Eddie Jimmy.

My personal favorite was the visual gag of the maids exchanging the dirty laundry.

Anyone else get a Shoshanna (from Girls) vibe from Rachel in a couple of the scenes tonight?

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but I was in the middle of rewatching season 4 when the series finale rolled around last night, and after resuming my rewatch, came upon "The Front Porch". Notably, it ends with Robin and Ted agreeing to be each others' backup spouses. Obviously, they knew this was the plan,

Reese's little shrug to Shaw after getting up from jumping out of the freaking window was fantastic. Might be the hardest I've laughed at a non-comedy since "I'm Batman" on Revolution.

Personally, I'm a fan of having lots of opposing factions. They're not all equal, especially when one of them has their name in the title of the show, but I think if they can make us care about the witches, werewolves, and non-original vampires as much as we do about Klaus and Elijah, we're in for some fun.

Were they supposed to be spelling something at the end? I was thinking maybe it'd be TGIF, what with all the sitcom name-dropping in the opening scene, but it really didn't look like that at all. It looks like VOUL, which doesn't really make any sense. Any ideas?

Episodes is a bit of an odd show. I'm completely caught up with it, and I do find myself laughing at it quite a bit, but, for whatever reason, it just seems so…inconsequential. Plus, they're doing a fourth season when they could have reworked the most recent season finale into a pretty decent series finale pretty

This was definitely a stressful episode. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and some big twist at the end where someone died. I doubt this will be the last time we see Rebekah ever, but, even if it is, at least she went out on a happy note.
