Playing Police Quest 3 and Commander keen cause I could only afford a computer that could play 1991 games….

Yes, I was dismissive of them to prior to this album. "Creep" was a huge alternative hit in Australia as it had a bit of a novelty factor about it. I think the amazing reviews it was getting prompted me to buy it and it blew me away. I then went back and listened to "the bends" later on after and can appreciate it

Same, I think my interest dropped of around Season 11-12 I think. I can' t believe they are up to season 28!

Agreed for a very dark album the concert was surprisingly uplifting. Pity the encore wasn't there (we got palisades and Chicago)

I saw this last year in Brisbane Australia. It was amazing. Thanks for sharing this as I can relive it again.

Bacon salt? have to look that one up. In Aus we have something called Bacon Bits that are bacon flavoured crunchy little things made of soy. Great for adding vegie bacon flavour.. Hard to find nowadays though.

This is not my kind of dish at all (hate creamy pasta sauces) but this was a great read, always interesting to find out about how certain dishes came to be.

obligatory "this video is unavailable in this location" complaint. even with vpn.

So cute. Can't wait to get my own dog! Of course it will be a rescue one.

Great interview. So excited for a new shins album. 2017 just got brighter.

I've always loved her and stoked when she turns up in a movie. I guess this was a pretty time constrained random roles as I will post the obligatory "what about her role as" lurleen lumpkin in the simpsons!

Yeah I don't get it. I didn't grow up here so I have noticed it much more compared to the loud receptive crowds down south.

That's true, I have been to a few shows where if it is the home town talent (regurgitator, powderfinger) they are usually a bit more lively. It's about the only thing I miss about Sydney.

As a former Novacastrian who went to a heap load of Sydney shows, from my experience Syd crowds are way better. (Newcastle crowds are even better but thats the 'wow you even came to us' excitement) I frequently get disappointed by Brisbane crowds at shows for their lack of enthusiasm. Maybe it's to hot to bother or

As a Brisbanian? At least we know we are a joke to the southern cities, it's just way , way to hot to bother about it.

As a Australian yeah that would definitely deflate the crowd. Hey we are happy anyone bothers to come visit us.
On the other hand living in Brisbane and not either of these towns I say HA HA!

Every photo I have seen on him he looks either terribly unhappy like he is completely disconnected from whats going on around him.

I have never picked up a console at launch before either (in fact only bought a ps3 late 2015). I am sorely tempted by this one though, I just love the Mario, Mario Kart and Zelda demos.

Me too, I had a bit of a play of the early access and it looked promising. But didn't go too far as don't want to spoil it too much.

I absolutely love the Watch series. They are one of the few series of books that I always go back and read every now and then.
