Stella Blue has got to be one of the best rock songs of the 70s.

There is definitely some post-punk/new wavy-ness in there. The songs I'd heard by Pezband before this were a lot less distorted and wiry and more Raspberries or Shoes-esque. Laughing In The Dark had some punkier stuff on it but this sounds more like early Cars with a dash of The Smiths.
