I had several 'Red Dawn'-type scenarios worked up in my head that I was ready to enact on a moment's notice. Most involved me leading my classmates into the hills of upstate NY and becoming a fearless leader of a ragtag group of guerilla fighters. Fifth graders, mostly.

I remember seeing something similar in a Scholastic Reader infographic. The number of missles the U.S.S.R. was larger than what the U.S. had and that seemed to go against the narrative we were being taught in school and subsequently scared the shit out of me. Fun times!
