My first reaction to the hand spike thing was, wow they may actually get rid of that hand finally! But then I wondered if they would really do it. And then I thought, you know Negan might take the opportunity to do it as a way to "help" Rick get over his injury. So now I am on hand-watch for the rest of the damn

The implication is clear from the Samurai World area (assumption from the SW logo) that there are a bunch of variants, which I guess leaves the show some room to get weirder.

True dat.

Why would you bother employing humans when you could just have robots do everything? This makes me wonder who, if anyone, is not a robot on this damn show.

My theory is everything, including the wood, is made of stuff that knows what to do with the fake bullets. So somewhere there's a milk bath with a door in it.

Speaking of which, I think Lena would make a great Vulcan. Although I'm sure whatever new Star Trek they are cooking up would waste her.

They just made Melisandre interesting, therefore she will be dead soon. And if the wildlings return of course Throne is fucked. However given the show's pacing I would surprised if they even went back to Castle Black this week if I hadn't seen a snippet of it in the preview, who knows how much time we'll spend there.

Welp you just signed his death warrant.

Well I think we can rule out zombie, what with the head destruction.

Would be better to have gotten an unknown and made a star of him I think.

I feel like it would have been 100% better if the cliffhanger was just where Nicholas fires the shot, cut to black on Glenn's face. Then this episode would start with the fall off the dumpster (which it did anyway) and just proceed from there. That way both episodes make you say "oh shit" instead of one "oh shit"

That's why he always makes such bad decisions… he's always distracted by the sensation of breaking in new shoes.

Which is why I've taken to calling the show "Buns of Manarchy".

I get the impression he doesn't have a clue she was involved, so why wouldn't he leave it out? Gotta remember although he is generally suspicious of people, he's in love with Gemma.

Grab the Penn's Sunday School podcast episode with Takei (looks like it's #37) for some great discussion of the internment camp stuff, among other things.

Is Vanessa, in fact, his daughter? I was waiting to see if that shoe would ever drop and it didn't seem to.

I assume Wynn is going to clean it up himself or hire a "cleaner", being the connected fellow that he is. No way he involves the authorities if he doesn't have to.

And don't forget that convenient zombie pit in the Only Road Out Of Town. It's like they were setting up something interesting with a sneaky 3rd group doing bad things in the shadows, but it appears we are going to get another boring prison showdown instead.

Imagine if we had never met The Governor before, how much better and more interesting would these 2 episodes have been without knowledge of who he was…
