It might have been because I was stoned while watching it, but Monster Squad wasn't very good. I mean they have a fat kid character, what do we call him? Fatkid. Brilliant. Where's their Oscar? (I will say that the two youngest kids were way too fucking adorable.)

Trying to process how to say that is just making the hemorrhaging so much worse.

As stupidly entertaining as all of this is, even the movie itself, I feel like pushing it back so far may (hopefully) be too long in that space in time for something even smuttier with stupider characters to come along and feast on the brains of lonely housewives.

I liked Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese. Granted Terminator Salvation was exactly the movie I thought it would be and, like Prometheus, I don't really understand the negativity and I liked both of them just fine.

It was 1993 week at The AV Club after all.

Gah! I still miss Julia on New Girl! Yeah Jess has gotten a lot better development over three seasons but Lizzy Caplan was interesting from the moment she got there. She's totally an underrated actress.

Absolutely, letting Loki just do his own thing is hilarious because he just doesn't care about anything.

As someone who genuinely likes the first movie, I don't really see why Jason Bateman's character would leave his cushy VP job that he was promoted to at the end of the movie. But I suppose someone has to ask the hard questions and that someone will be me.

Goddamn that cameo was worth every penny. I couldn't even hear the movie because we were all freaking the fuck out. It's for those moments alone that I love the hell out of these Marvel movies, because we all get to act like kids again and just relish in this idea of supermen and monsters and good guys and bad guys

So I assumed that by Blockbuster finally closing shop that just meant all obsolete services from the year 2003 were gone too.

I more or less agree with this, from what I've seen of Happy Endings he's ridiculously over the top and while I do find it amusing it's not subtle but I still like him and this weird opportunity to see a character who was supposed to be on New Girl from the start actually having the chance to come back and explore

2 Doom 2 Doomiest.

I love Terry, I guess because he is such a physically intimidating person but in actuality is a big doofus who somehow commandeers everyone's respect.

I'm not gonna lie, Taye Diggs' extra-low voice basically removed my clothes all on its own.

1993 was a year of debauchery for me. So much nakedness and vomit, things were crazy back then. I may or may not have been a baby.

I'm almost positive that's not true. I could have sworn she said it in episodes 3 and/or 4.

Heh so many comments, I don't know where the actual conversation about Halloween is. I like Halloween 4 a lot, I think it's a great return to form and the character dynamic between Rachel and Jamie is really interesting to watch (which is why Rachel's death in part 5 is such a slap in the face). Halloween 5 on the

New Nightmare is fantastic and is one of my favorite movies ever.

Part 4 ruins everything that Part 3 perfectly set up within the first fifteen minutes. All the best Elm Street movies are the ones with Heather Langenkamp (1, 3, and New Nightmare).

I'm just going to mail the producers of this movie a doodle of cocks.
