I didn't really care for 12 years a slave either. I didn't really think the acting was as great as some make it out to be. Chiwetel Ejifor was excellent though.

Cate Blanchett FTW! I also completely agree that Danai Gurira was overlooked. Her role in Mother of George was wonderful. She at least deserved a nomination.
