The Big Red One always looked dated and…well…cheap to me. It doesn't help that most of the soldiers are total cliches. The tough guy from the Bronx, the intellectual guy, etc.

The vehicles for UFO and Space 1999 were both so nicely designed. When I watched some UFO on YouTube it dawned on me what an inefficient fighting machine the Interceptors were…one shot and you were done.
TCM showed the two Thunderbird movies a while back and I was absolutely tickled to watch them as an adult. Sometimes the pacing got a bit slow, but they were very enjoyable.
God how I loved UFO as a kid and yup it scared me as well. Sylvia Anderson also designed some pretty risque costumes for the female cast. You can catch a lot of them on YouTube.
Hell, we just finished season two of DD last weekend and I'm already thinking about re-watching the entire run.

Disagree. The first Thor movie was fun. Though the second one was overstuffed, I actually enjoyed the craziness of the final battle.
Obviously this is all personal preference, but I've never been keen on Capt. America…until the first CA movie came out. Love the WWII vibe. The first Iron Man is lots of fun.
