I've reached the point where I consider reading a book highly productive (assuming it's nonfiction). That's probably not healthy, and bodes poorly for when school starts up again.
We already had one. Guy who plays Melvin Potter in Daredevil was in a One Shot.
Remember how brilliant the early Arrow seasons' endgames and final battles were? Man, good times.
I'm kinda hoping Bucky is in this movie. That'd be a super fun dynamic.
It got pretty terrible around books 7-11. Not that it's an automatic dropoff, you see hints of the big problems starting at book 4, and not that those later books dont have some terrific moments. But…. yeah. It only gets worse after book 3; book 10 was especially pits, and I never thought book 11 turned it around the…
I never did like 1. 2 is incredible. 3 is really good. 4 I'm hoping is awesome, but people gave the same praise to 3, so we'll see. (Don't get me wrong - 3 has some incredible set pieces and story moments, but it doesn't all come together like 2 does, and the gunplay is lacking somehow)
Which, I suspect, is why it works better - there's someone to anchor the movie on.
Yup yup yup. I know it's not really his series, but I would love if Sanderson consulted on the show. He clearly knows its strengths and weakness.
This series has its issues (like, a LOT of issues) but when it's successful, it's SUCCESSFUL. Of course, it slowly goes down the crapper as it goes (the major issues become apparent in 4 and slowly overtake the good stuff), but the last three books are somehow utterly marvelous (thanks to Sanderson being an utter…
It's freaking incredible. Read it.
Oh, man. I need to read this book again soon. Still my favorite ever. Wasn't a huge fan of the movie, but hopefully they do it justice this time.
So… I have to watch this, then? Fine
I started The Wire two days ago and am very happy I got that reference
I only do that for bad games and if the hosts are funny. I know it's stupid, but I do have a strange soft spot for Game Grumps.
They got the guy who wrote Rubicon to play Spiderman?
Quite apart from the fact that the first was the best alien invasion movie I've seen in ages, and am totally going to see this in theaters…. it doesn't need a sequel. Let a great stand-alone be a great stand-alone, Hollywood!
Yup. Which they are in the perfect position to do for season 3 if they go for Bullseye.
That may be the best shot of the season for me. Chills both times I've seen it.
At this point that's how I'm feeling for pretty much all superhero movies. I haven't even seen Deadpool or BVS yet. I'm excited to see if the Russos can match Winter Soldier (by FAR the best MCU movie), but other than that…
