Too… many… similes… (choke).

I remember almost none of it but saw Wishmaster in the theatre with two friends. One promptly fell asleep, but the other made non stop quips about how terrible it was.

I watched it after Sandler said in many interviews that it was based upon his real life manager, particularly his propensity for lying and making up stories that weren't true and made no sense. Seemed different from the usual Sandler stuff, and it was.

Great episode, I really enjoyed it.

No need to even google it, nobody would believe that Donald Trump was born amongst a bunch of filthy commoners in Queens. I think the term the article is looking for is "childhood home".

I am really, really, really over dead girls. I don’t deny that some great television has been made out of stories about missing girls and raped young women.

The B plot was unnecessary, ought to have been its own episode. Still enjoyed this one a lot.

Total class act, amazing host.

The "amiable dunce".

So nobody's recut that South Park episode, Scott Tenorman Must Die yet? You know, the one where Radiohead shows up to mock him while he cries.

The way Norm describes how Maher steps on other people jokes reminds me of Krusty the Klown.

Yes, I can tell by the smash-cuts to his panelists guffawing that the segment is pretty funny.

Agree or disagree, this guy never forgets an anniversary. Kinda sweet.

Sinserly, a consernt citzen.

Well, what I mean is that his material is good enough: I am sure his writers are professionals who are worth what he pays them.

I think you are right on all counts; Stewart was rarely funny, the people he worked with are all insanely much more talented than him, and his interviews were excellent.

Purely from a technical standpoint, his delivery is very, very poor. What professional comedian smirks and chuckles at his own jokes? If he was just a little more dry and deadpan he might have a chance at being funny.

This is really good.

The biggest problem I have with Maher isn't his smugness or his evangelical atheism. It isn't the fact that he provides a forum for idiots to spout hate, and it isn't the fact that he hides behind his supposed libertarianism to make ignorant remarks. It's the fact that he is lazy and a complete failure as a comedian.
