Yes, perhaps the realization that his dog was receiving a memorial that Patmore's nephew did not have, just made him think about it.

Buscemi-eyes.

I would imagine that they look forward to having a normal dinner some day. Someone is always calling someone a fascist or a bastard and storming out. Doesn't seem particularly English, to me.

Apparently they ARE getting a black demon hound and going full on Son of Sam at Downton.

Although it may have been historically accurate to obscure who Marigold's mother is with lie after lie, having her move to London and openly be the child's mother wouldn't have been the worst anachronism the show has engaged in, and it would have made for a rewarding Edith plotline for once. Disappointing.

I remember eagerly reading each book as it came out, but after a few pages, deciding to read the previous ones again in order to familiarize myself with Jordan's world again. I must have read the first one about eight times. But they never really got old for me. Reading the series back to back, it isn't difficult

The only Tad Williams book I enjoyed was Tailchaser's Song, which was a pretty whimsical book told from the perspective of a housecat. I think it was his first book.

The best thing about George RR Martin (out of a lot of great things, I must add) is his ability to kill off characters. Wheel of Time, which I read and greatly admired before the Martin books, would have been improved immeasurably by the murder of 90% of it's cast. That would have still left about two dozen

Shouldnt there be a mashup with this and that Simpsons B52s montage by now?

Oxford commas and Dutch angles.

Fourth season? Tell me this is a joke, I've never heard of this show. And btw Joan Hart's politics are terrible too.

Yeah, nice work there, Mr. Drew: just stare off to the side with a pained look while the baby is taken away. While some loon with a birth certificate from France ("I have others!") takes away your daughter.

I really cannot think of a character I despise more than Baxter. So saintly, so concerned about Thomas. Give it a rest already.

When she spoke mysteriously of "going away", I was pretty sure/hoping that she was going to hang herself.

That song was really terrible.

Speaking of Jupiter Jones, THE THREE INVESTIGATORS is a film I would like to watch.

Yes, the convenient limp.

I agree. And I hate to cast aspersions on 1924 English law enforcement, but would Scotland Yard really get involved in a case where some guy's valet gets hit by a car? Even Gillingham apparently could care less: it's not like he's demanding an investigation.

The first season was so much more honest. Remember when Thomas was blackmailing people with blowjobs? Now he's in heterosexual conversion therapy.

I recently watched DELIRIOUS with my wife. I am a huge fan of standup comedy, but I hadn't seen it since I was a kid. I told her it was a classic, that it was cited as being one of the greatest stand up specials of all time. She knew him mostly from NORBIT, and was skeptical.
