I know what you mean. I'm not at all into torture porn, but I'm willing to avert my eyes during said torture porniness in this particular case simply because AHS is pulling off the impossible: being both insightful and interesting. I'll take that!

Here's the operative quote that drew my ire from Jenn: "I guess [Nina] is used to people coddling her a little bit more. You don't do that in this game." There's a pretty big difference between "coddling" and spending a few extra moments clearly enunciating what you're saying, bitch (bitch referring to Jenn, not you,

I hear what you're saying but I'm coming at this from the angle of someone who has a sibling with a severe disability. I'm a lot less forgiving on this issue than most.

I was with you on Jenn last week. Not this week. And probably never again going forward. Is it too late to swap her out of my pick 4? :)

I'm not referring to the 2 young women. I'm referring to Jenn specifically. Rewatch the tribal. Jenn basically says "oh well, sucks to be deaf, doesn't it?" Not acceptable. Not in my book, at least.

I would hope it's not too much to ask people put in an extra ounce of effort to accommodate those with disabilities. You wouldn't say to someone missing a leg "oh sorry, I'm not helping you over this ledge as you should have known there might be ledges on Survivor." Human decency and competing on a reality show

It was the funniest show on tv last year, I'll give you that. Way funnier than any of the scripted comedies. The show had no internal logic and made things up as they went along, like a choose your own adventure book. It was hysterically bad, and I'd be lying if I said I don't miss it.
