That's the most reasonable explanation of this shows writing I've ever heard.

The popularity and longevity of AHS compared to the short life of Hannibal is all I need to be sure that there is no god.

I walked out of the Murder House (ep. 5 or 6)
I spurned the Coven (ep. 6)
I ran away from the Freak Show (ep. 2!)
I'll surely check out of Hotel as well.
But I never left the Asylum.

Did anyone else feel like they were watching a pilot and two separate midseason cliffhangers simultaneously? The show has never cared for cohesive linear narrative, but…what is this and which direction is it going? Are there even any rails to go off of this time?

But any self respecting Google user knows that THE "hipster whistle song" is Home.

Sir, Get Your Shit and Booty City are pretty strong.

And let's not forget Nasim Pedrad. She was the only other female cast member in the Wiig era who was able to steal a bit of the spotlight for herself. Bedelia, Lil Blaster and Heshy could always get a laugh out of me.
Man, what a missed opportunity the show had with Slate, Pedrad and Elliot.

I'm Spartacus.

This is Forrest's becoming.

I will defend Lords of Salem to the grave. I think it's a fantastic exploitation/horror film. House of the Devil bored me to tears but Salem (and Babadook) terrified the shit out of me. The inactive main character drifting through a non-sequitur plot appeared, to me at least, to be a metaphor for her depression/drug

Most of my weekend has been spent trying to not listen to Hamilton over and over, and failing spectacularly. I know it's early, but I'm calling it, this is straight up classic on par with Sondheim, Webber and Kander & Ebb.
"Right Hand Man" "Helpless" "Satisfied" and "The Reynolds Pamphlet" are my favs so far.

Fannibals: *scream internally*

Well, in part to the missing 'e', the official pronunciation is "week-ind". I take it as a nod to his demeanor and delivery. He's very weakened by all that fame, drugs and women. The empty, miserable, sexed up R&B crooner, along with Drake.

"Wavered between nonsensical and brilliant" is how I would describe the entire show.
Really, what was all that?

I watched it and you're incorrect. It was outtakes from The Hunger Games' scenes that take place at The Capitol. Rich people dressed in outrageous, colorful costumes making distractions to entertain the masses.

I've been looking out for a VMAs review or something to post my thoughts, but I guess I'll just leave them here:

Helen Sharps head: "…Do you remember where you parked the car?"

Greatest line of the episode, and that's saying something. Hader's nonchalant delivery of "I gave you the thing you wanted" was hilarious.

I was disappointed that wasn't the case.
