Not to diminish your story, or take it lightly, but it reminded me of a quote from Bojack Horseman: "In this terrifying world, all we have are the connections that we make."

This. It's also a long-running joke in B&T.

It was a GREAT film.

MF Doom? De la Soul? Big Boi over Andre 3000?

Did you watch the whole video? At one point Fallon asks one of the kids if he can read a card, and the kid responds, "Can you host?" It's a pretty hilarious moment.

John Oliver is doing a decent job of providing edutainment.

Right, because rock bands never produce music that was clearly inspired by an older band.

The AV Club

Netflix should stick to 8-10 episodes per season, it's perfect for binging. Some shows (Marvel's Daredevil & Jessica Jones) suffered from prolonged seasons.

2 Strange 2 Things

Okay, thanks for the suggestions. I see that mixtape mentioned a lot, so I'll check it out.

What's the appeal of Danny Brown? Is it just his goofy voice? He doesn't appear to be that spectacular of a rapper or lyricist, am I missing something?

"Heavenly Father" was one of the best songs of 2014, so I'm definitely looking forward to his new album.

Amy Schumer?

Great band, good song, okay video. Not really rock at all, though.

House of Heroes just released an incredible concept album this year. Rock's not dead, you just have to sift through the Nickelback copycats, twee Arcade Fire types, and Fueled By Ramen emo-powerpop acts.

It's a fun movie that's endlessly rewatchable and has a few great quotes. Plus, the Murray cameo is one of the best of the century so far.

I haven't seen Hell or High Water, but Pine is fantastic in the fun Joe Carnahan movie Stretch.

I'd say TJ Miller is the best of the group. His insults and jokes are usually surprisingly creative and subversive while Gervais is just smarmy and annoying and McBride is just loud and predictable.

An AJJ mosh would be fun to see. I'd imagine it's a bunch of flannel-wearing hipsters flailing around like wacky inflatable tube guys.
