They partly provided them but they were awful and didn't solve several plotholes. On the flip side, Wayward pines has steadily given us answers that fit far more with what has been established.

Oh absolutely, it's a dystopian society with odd values from a reckless scientist guy who has been established by his assistants like almost a god. That can only have bad results and turn the 'savior' into a megalomaniac.

Valid concern that from what I've heard might be answered in upcoming episodes. But personally I would allow the parents to be there, it's pretty traumatic for a kid (even a teenager) to grow up without his/her parents.

True but when you write you should have the mystery solved, not stretching it because most certainly your show or book will face some issues. This was very well done. I haven't read the books so at first I was super hesitant to watch this show when I learned Shyamalan was behind the pilot. However, aside from being well done, all of these episodes have built up the mystery, the characters, the sense of danger and the story wonderfully. See show runners?
